wilderness postcards

Plein air was my first introduction to painting.  I fell in love and began adding a session to every hike that made me feel something, as a way for me to remember my experience and share it with my mom and close friends through the good ol' United States Postal Service.  Something about slowing down to make a spot at my favorite vista and reconnecting to "old fashioned" communication feels peaceful and meaningful to me.
